Participant Terms of Service

These End User Terms apply only to Participants who take part in voice surveys conducted using the UserSound platform.
By starting or continuing a UserSound voice survey, you agree to these terms.
1. Who Is Responsible for the Survey
- UserSound provides the technology used to conduct the survey.
- The Client who invited you to participate is responsible for:
- The purpose of the survey
- The questions asked
- How your responses are used
UserSound does not control the content or intent of individual surveys.
2. Voice Recording & AI Processing
When you take part in a UserSound survey:
- Your voice will be recorded
- Your recording will be transcribed
- AI may ask follow-up questions
- AI may generate summaries of your responses
Your recordings and transcripts will be:
- Shared with the Client who invited you
- Processed by UserSound solely to provide the service
3. Consent
Before recording begins:
- You will be clearly informed that your voice is being recorded
- You will be asked to provide explicit consent
You may:
- Decline to participate
- Stop the survey at any time
If you stop the survey, no further recording will occur.
4. How Your Data Is Used
Your responses may be used by the Client for:
- Research
- Product improvement
- Service evaluation
- Customer feedback analysis
UserSound does not use Participant recordings for advertising or marketing.
5. Ownership of Responses
- You retain ownership of your personal data.
- The Client receives a copy of your recordings and transcripts.
- UserSound does not claim ownership of your responses.
6. Age Requirement
- You must be 18 years or older to participate.
- Surveys must not be completed by or on behalf of anyone under 18.
If we discover a recording from a minor, it will be deleted.
7. Withdrawing Consent & Data Requests
You may:
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Request deletion of your recordings and transcripts
- Request access to your data

Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. No Professional Advice
UserSound surveys are for research and feedback purposes only.
They do not provide:
- Legal advice
- Medical advice
- Financial advice
9. Liability
UserSound is not responsible for:
- How the Client uses your responses
- Decisions made based on survey results
- The content of the survey questions
10. Privacy
Your participation is also governed by the UserSound Privacy Policy, which explains:
- What data is collected
- How it is protected
- Your rights under data protection law
